Is there a problem, Officers?

I had to watch this one twice, just to be sure that I’d seen what I thought I’d seen. The cars were already on the scene, so what exactly were police doing? Responding to the radio, but certainly not watching the scene that was unfolding before them, only yards away.
Bonus points for running into the building full-bore, but then leisurely sauntering back to their cruisers when they learned that the bad guys had gotten away.
